Hem it
• Most pant hems will be shortened within ½ hour.
• We can shorten your jeans with the original hem.
• Join our reward system and after 10 alterations with us, we will shorten one regular pant hem for free.

Zip it
We will sew in zips and replace old zips on jackets, pants, jeans, skirts, dresses, cushion covers, baby suits, ski jackets and suits, motor bike gear, leather jackets and many other garments. We match the original zip where possible.

Dressmaking
If you want something tailor made to fit you perfectly we have qualified dressmakers who can fit you and make a garment to your specific requirements. Customers will need to supply their own fabric.

Taper it
For that perfect tailored look, we can taper skirts, shirts, jackets and pants to suit the individual's requirements.

Mend it
Gone are the days when we all knew a family member who would happily do all the mending. Alter It stores are conveniently located in local shopping centres so that your mending can be expertly and reliably done while you do your shopping.

Name it
We will name your garments using our new Embroidery service. Enquire at afrayman@alter-it.com.au.

Label it
Bring in the labels and we will sew them on all your garments. This service is particularly helpful for school clothes or garments to be worn in hospitals or care accommodation.

Shorten it
- Most pant hems will be shortened within ½ hour.
- We can shorten your jeans with the original hem.
- We can shorten your pants with a cuff.
- We will shorten skirts and dresses, with or without lining.
- We expertly shorten pleated skirts and dresses.
- We professionally shorten blazers, jackets and coats.
- Shorten your old T shirts and make them fashionable.
- Have your shirt and jacket sleeves shortened so that they look "tailor made"

Lengthen it
We can lengthen many garments by adding a false hem. Bring the garment in to any of our stores, together with the shoes that you would like to wear, and we will advise you on the best means of lengthening the garment.

Button it
- If your buttons have fallen off, bring them in and our tailors will quickly sew them back.
- We will make the button holes as well, if you need them.
- We will replace broken jean studs.
- We can arrange for a variety of studs and eyelets to be replaced.

Number It
Not only do we sew the footy numbers on the jumpers, but we sell the numbers in a range of sizes.

Patch It
Bring your torn jeans, pants or other garments and we will discuss with you the best way to patch the garment. Our expert tailors are very creative in mending garments.

Sew It
- Our tailors machine sew or hand sew your garments and some other items as required.
- If you want that small job done, such as a library bag made, or your curtains hemmed, or even your bed sheets altered, bring them in to one of our stores and our tailors will provide you with a reasonable quote.
- We also sew on badges, hooks and eyes, press studs and many more.

Leather It
We professionally alter leather clothes to give that "perfect fit" We expertly patch tears in leather garments.

Embroider it
- We embroider on caps, T shirts, sports tops, jackets, jumpers, pants, work shirts, work overalls, bags, singlets, towels, dressing gowns, blankets, christening shawls, upholstery, canvas chairs, horse blankets and many more.
- We are able to supply a wide range of work and corporate wear.
- We can embroider your own club or corporate logo.
- We use a large range of fonts and colours.
- We have state of the art equipment.

Costumes
- If you are going to a fancy dress party or need a costume for a school play, see our creative staff and they may be able to help you.

Remodel
Do you have a lot of 'old' loved clothes in your wardrobe or handed down to you or that do not fit? Bring them to us and our staff can remodel them.

Homewares
Curtains, quilt covers, tables clothes, cushions. Our skilled professionals can take care of many of your specific Homeware requirements.

Samples
Do you want to get started in the fashion business; do you need samples made for overseas manufacture? Then come and see us. Many of our tailors are ex sample makers for some of Australia's biggest brands.

If you need something special made for your workplace, then come and talk to us. We have made aprons, hats, tops, skirts and uniforms.
